Koi Leaping

Just put this in my Etsy shop today: A Koi-style fish leaps out of the billowing waves, on the hunt for an insect fluttering ahead, in soft greens, blues, and lavenders. A piece of tranquility for your home!

2012. Copic Multiliner, Copic markers, and Sakura Gelly Roll pen on Neenah paper dyed with Ranger Ink Color Washes and Moon Glow shimmering mist. 8.5 x 11", matted size 12x16".

This one is matted, so it's a little extra:

Photo Prints Up @ Etsy, & New Original!

Just got some photo prints in today of some of my works, including my newest little koala, and also put the Butterfly Bells (beautifully shimmery in real life!) original up for sale. The koala original, entitled Noah Bear, has already gone to its new owner... =) Come visit my Etsy shop to see these and others!

I've been Etsy-ized!

Yup, now selling cards & original drawings at my Etsy shop (which I've had since 2006, can you believe it? Probably the only reason I actually got "heathert" as my shop name!). I will be selling prints, too--both on photo paper, and on archival-quality art paper--in a couple of weeks. It just takes a while to get those printed.

Come check it out: Ooh la la, Artsy! Shop!

Two of my favorites Kingfisher, and Cityscape:

Still Life With Beach

Had to make cards today, and do school (catching up for when Mom was here, though still, we're already done with November's classes!), and make a couple of new cards for my Etsy shop. So this was a quick layout (relatively), and I wasn't quite sure whether it was finished or not. It had a poem calling to me, but I wasn't able to dig it out...

Credits: Everything mine except for the coin "frame" by Vinnie Pearce (Pixel Canvas, Naturals). Fonts: XBand Rough and Big Ruckus AOE. Though I added the frame and lighthouse picture, can you believe that this little collection of sea gifts I found exactly like this? Amazing.

And here's the card--the last one for ACE9 on my Oriental Stamp Art group:

Credits: Stamp by Art Neko (not one of mine), and yuzen from Stone House Stamps, House of my (willing)financial demise... ;)

And finally, the new Etsy cards:

(Might make that word art into a freebie at some point!)

Hope you have a great week!

Etsy Shop!

I cannot TELL you how many times I have been *nagged* to get this thing going... *grins* And I finally got the motivation (see yesterday's post, heh), plus a new set of skills. Much of what I'll be offering will be digital based! Not much up there yet, but it's a start... http://heathert.etsy.com/ ! But here's my favorite:
