So yes! Anita van Straeten (Designs by Anita) and I have made a collab together, and it's come together *beautifully*! It's called Heartbound, and it's all about friendship--of any kind. In warm, soft tones, it works wonderfully for both boys and girls, men and women, and everybody in between...
Here's what it looks like:
And ohhhhhhhh man, the layouts, the layouts... just amazing! My CT, Anita's CT, the store CT--so many layouts it's just not possible to show even half of them!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND... we have a giveaway winner, and it is:
TRISTA! Congratulations! Please contact me with your e-mail addy so I can mail you the coupon code... I really enjoyed reading what each of you had to say about friendship! I'm going for the fridge one at the moment... ;)
Hi everybody! What a great day it is here--wild, wet, seagulls hunkering down in the grass facing south, waves crashing and blowing in the wind--just the perfect winter storm day. Plus, we have power still! *lol*
And at MScraps, much newness! I have a couple of sets (by request) of very basic shape templates. Clippers 1 is full (30 items!) of curves and swirls that you can use to clip papers for your backgrounds. Clippers 2 is a set of border templates that you can use with styles or papers to make your own. Ricrac? Butterflies? Scallops? All yours with a little embellishment! Here's what they look like:

So head on over for Clippers 1& 2 -- they're going to be useful over and over and over again! And of course they're on sale for the weekend!
What's that you say? What about the giveaway? Ohhh... that's the next post... ;)
And guess what? You have a chance at winning--just leave a comment in the section below about what friendship means to you, and I'll select a random winner on Friday. And guess what too? If you go over to Anita's blog, you'll get a SECOND chance at winning! Hope you'll like the kit--we had a great time working together!
So, to make the alpha included in the Home & Hearth kit, I had to make a font, and then a display font (3 days of work!!). And here they are! The display font is better for titles or alphas; the plain font is a very legible print font, especially if you're using a program that has kerning enabled. Just click on the images to download the font folders!
These fonts are free for personal and commercial use (I do like to see what you do with them, though, and they may not be resold as is, nor included in any compilation without the accompanying TOU). The fonts I make are my way of repaying the design community for freebies that I've found online too. Thanks for sharing, you guys!
I'll be submitting these to dafont.com too, where you can find my other free fonts. Let me know if you like them!
This is the time of year when it starts to get stormy at the coast, and I start cocooning. So I made a kit to celebrate the indoors family times, whatever they might be! Whether it's just you and your cat, or you and your 9 children, Home & Hearth has something for you! (It's 20% off through Sunday, as usual.)
And *of course* I have some fabulous layouts to show you:

Hope you guys have a wonderful, warm, loving weekend!
Our 50% sale is on over @ MScraps (Quiet Play, this week, for me), plus, here's your freebie template! PNG files can be downloaded here; for the .psd and .tif, just click on the preview. Sorry it's a bit big, but there's a lot of brushwork and transparency...
And, if you've read all the way to here... Here's a coupon for you for this weekend (good through Sunday): iDSD-blog1 -- an EXTRA 20% off the 30-50% off already listed in the store (min. purchase $5.00). I hope you have a grand time this weekend--don't miss my speed scrap on Saturday afternoon at 2PM PST/5PM EST!
Hahaaaaaaa! MScraps is having another of their Facebook/blog hops--and here is my part! You should have come here from France's blog, and your next stop will be Helen's blog. All the parts together will make up a beautiful kit, For the Love of Scrapbooking--so don't miss any of the links! If you get lost, just visit MScraps's forum to get re-oriented... Click on this link to pick up my part:
Hey, lookit that--I haven't gone to bed yet, so it must still be Tuesday. =)
I based this week's template on a layout I made tonight with my Just Because kit (coming soon to a MScraps near you!). It's got so many layers I made a separate file for just the .pngs: download that one here. For the regular .psd (no shadows) and .tiff (shadows) files, click on the preview beneath to download the templates:
