Templates! That's right folks, TWENTY-FOUR (yes, I know I can't count, but I did leave out the K & X) templates for you, based on the "A is for..." formula. These are loads of fun, easy, and you get a ton of wordart, masks, and other goodies out of it too!
These even come singly if you want. I'll even make up a template for you with the letter and word you like (use the AlphaYou product for ordering that). But let me tell you, I think these will make a *very* cute photoalbum for someone! I'm making one, but it's a secret for whom... hehehe. In case they read my blog.
Here are of course some really fun samples:
Ulla-May:
Julie:
Jean:
Romy:
Lisa:
Tracy:
And finally one of my own (with BIL and my little nephew):
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Don't forget, AlphaTemplates are 20% off until Monday--a big savings on this one!

A New Hobby!
Allen's been taking horseback-riding lessons--just had his third one the other day, and already he's trotting off-lunge... I'm so proud of him! Here's a double-page I came up with:

PhotoPlay: Curves
Linda (aka Scrapporreia) suggested investing in our photo work with a weekly theme. The details are in this thread, but this week's theme was "curves." Here are my efforts from this afternoon's gray stroll along the beach:

Happy Times!
Oh, what a beautiful day today! We went a little south to the Sea Lion Caves, where Steller sea lions come to spend their breeding season, beaching out either along the cliffs, or within the largest mainland sea cave in the world (? I'm always dubious of these claims). It was a bit chilly and breezy, but wow, we haven't see that yellow thing in the sky for quite a while, it seems, and it was all worth it!
In the distance there you can see the Heceta Head Lighthouse, and a little lower to the right, the Heceta Lighthouse B&B (run by our friends Michelle & Steven Bursey, who also run the awesome Ona Restaurant here in town). Down on the left you can see clumps of sea lions who have hauled out. How they can seem so comfortable on those rocks is beyond me!! The noise is phenomenal, especially now that the bulls have started arriving. Fun times, I tell you! The caves are underneath all this rock, and are dim, noisy, and stinky. But fascinating nonetheless!
Anyway, in celebration of the (brief) return of the sun, and a springtime lightening of the heart, here's my new kit Happy Times (and yes, I sewed all those!):
And oh my, the layouts:

By Helen:
By Mary:
By Chris:
And even a black and white one using uncolored brushes, by Ulla-May:
Amazing, no? And there are so many more I couldn't include... Anyway, 20% off through Monday. I hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with the people and the weather you like most!

Tickle Your Tuesday!
It's Tuesday! Well, somewhere it is. And that means there are some 50% off deals @ MScraps: Word Gems, and Healing: Templates.
Plus, it was sunny today, I could hardly believe it! So I got to draw in my new little drawing book/journal by Jill Bliss. We went to the beach, and Allen dug in the sand, the dog dug in the sand and then shared it, and I sat on a rock and drew. Not a work of art, but it was fun to examine something in such detail, and then try and get it on paper!

I bring you a fun set of large alpha letters that are decorated with cute "stickers" representing a word that begins with that letter. And, I've done it for French, too! The CT are making little charts and doodle books for their kids--so much fun!
Here's Julie's darling little doodlebook:
