Guess what? I'm going to be the spotlit designer at The DigiChick on the 19th! That means my whole store (except for tutorials) will be on sale at 30%! And, I'm coming out with a new kit, DillyDally. Here's a sneak peek:
And I'd like to give it out to two of you! I'm going to be going to San Francisco in June, so just leave me a comment with a tidbit about that city--anything you know personally, or just something you've picked up along the way in movies, or even just your impression of it! Then, on Wednesday [yeah, I changed that, cuz me and the names of weekdays never did get along *rolls eyes*], I'll randomly pick two winners for the whole kit for free (it's a big'un!). How's that for a deal?
Here's wishing you a wonderful week!
Ohhhh I love SF!! I was there in Jan and I found the greatest art place that you HAVE to go to...save up some time and just a little money, because the prices are unbelievable. It's an artist reusable resource called SCRAP:

ReplyDeleteYou can walk about 6 stories' worth of steps to get to Coit Tower, passing some lovely backyard gardens or you can take a taxi and save your energy t walk the steps of the tower.

It looks beautiful, but I will be honest, I know nothing about Sand Fransisco! Except maybe you might find good bagels there???? lol - seriously - NOTHING! I hope you have a great time, though!!!

Can't offer any suggestions since I've never been there myself. But I wish you a safe and fun trip! (And I'd still love to win your new kit--what I can see in the sneak looks great).
ReplyDeleteYou too? I'll be there memorial day weekend for the FIRST time.Everyone says I'd love it there. Hope the weather's good :)
ReplyDeleteHi Heather. Have a wonderful trip and take in as much as possible. I was 16 when I visited SF for the first time and went to China Town and was so fascinated by all that I saw. Thus, I'd include that in my visit but try to stay away from the "touristy" routes and spread out to some of the areas where the locals shop. Many still go to the daily street markets for their food
ReplyDeleteand you may get some great photos.
HAVE FUN!

ReplyDeleteThe sneek peek looks so pretty! I love those colors. I'd try some clam chowder at Pier 39. I forgot the name of the shop but it was on the first floor and so tasty (served in a bread bowl). Have a wonderful and safe trip to San Francisco!
