From Pixel Canvas to The DigiChick!
Well, the saddest news is that Pixel Canvas, the shop side, is closing its doors for good. I'll be selling there till Sunday (my kits are already on sale, and I'm going to put the tutorials on sale later today). Vinnie will sell her goods till the following Wednesday, and then the site will turn into her portfolio.
However, I am SUPER EXCITED to let you know that I've joined The DigiChick Boutique! I'm so honored to be alongside a bunch of really cool designers, and their forum life is really fun too. I think this will be a great fit... My shop will open there next Thursday (and will be on sale for 2 days), so I'm looking forward to seeing all of you over there!

Running
For the Lift a Paper Page @ Pixel Canvas, from Stacy Cohen's adorable "Know This".
Everything mine. Papers, lace, frame, & bracket are new. Tags from Nautica, Ouchie, Delicacies, Country Dream, Unforgotten, School's Out, & Winter Blues. Ricrac from Tangled Twirls and button from Urbanhood. Fonts: Echelon, Downcome, Essays 1743, F25 Executive, Charlemagne STD, Footlight MT Light, & FG Cathy's Hand. Phew!
Notice how only one paw of the six limbs is touching the ground? How's that for photographic luck! Too bad the photo itself isn't any good, but oh well =)

AYITI - Charity Collab kit for Haiti
I was very pleased to be able to contribute to this wonderful mega-kit, which is available from ZigZag Scraps, Digital Crea, DigiScrap Mania, and Two Little Pixels. Timounette, whose children hail from Haiti, has put this together, and all funds will be directly forwarded to two Haitian groups, one of which is the orphanage where her children lived for a while. The kit is HUGE!

Amanda's trail runs up Oregon's central coast, commemorating the relocation in the 1860's of many First People to a reservation near where I live. Amanda was a blind woman, whose suffering during the march was commemorated with this statue by Sy Meadow.
Everything from the Ayiti Charity Collab kit for Haiti, available at ZigZag Scrap. Background papers by Miss Vivi and Manue. Lilies by Catherine Designs, candle by Melancolie; wordart/mask by Heather T. Font: Amanda's Hand. Journalling reads:
amanda’s spirit
shivers in the forest gloom
unseeing eyes sealed by stone
tears of moss stumbling
over her cracked skin
and at her torn feet, our offerings
small gifts of light
remembering her trail
across the foot of the dark mountain
clouded by the roar of the sea
And here's my layout with it:
