From Pixel Canvas to The DigiChick!

Well, the saddest news is that Pixel Canvas, the shop side, is closing its doors for good. I'll be selling there till Sunday (my kits are already on sale, and I'm going to put the tutorials on sale later today). Vinnie will sell her goods till the following Wednesday, and then the site will turn into her portfolio.

However, I am SUPER EXCITED to let you know that I've joined The DigiChick Boutique! I'm so honored to be alongside a bunch of really cool designers, and their forum life is really fun too. I think this will be a great fit... My shop will open there next Thursday (and will be on sale for 2 days), so I'm looking forward to seeing all of you over there!

Pixel Canvas Update

Vinnie just made an announcement on Facebook about Pixel Canvas--this is what she says:

Hi guys, just letting you know that we are close to being on our new server. If you visit the site right now you will find things not working or uploading. That's because you are looking at the old site and the database has moved. When we have our old site back, expect all your images and forum post taken back a few weeks. The reason for this is that a copy of our site was downloaded at a certain point (weeks ago) then uploaded to a new server and the new server can not reflect any of the changes to the old server, like gallery posts and forum threads made after the download point ... confused? LOL!

Once we are on our new server I will be introducing a new group system. There have been too many pages uploaded for the last few months from members who are only there to promote other designers products, and that's not what I want the gallery to be about. SO yes there will be moderation on all members except those that have shown loyalty to PC products and community. These members have no moderation and limit of 5 gallery posts a day, using 70%-100% PC items. There's also another group level they can work towards where they have a limit of 15 gallery posts a day, lifetime discount on all PC items, free gift every month - exclusive to those members. (conditions and rules apply.) More details on that later. ;)

I hope you can understand where I am coming from and continue to be loyal members to Pixel Canvas. Thanks again for sticking by.

Well, Pixel Canvas is probably down till Tuesday or Wednesday next week, I imagine. Blah blech blurgh. Hopefully after that it will never be down EVER AGAIN until the blue cow jumps over the moon. Or something equally improbable. =)

Pixel Canvas again

*sigh* We've found out that some malicious scripts are running on the server, so we need to change hosts (and clean out the scripts). This may take a while, and of course we are sooooooooooo sorry! And a bit tired of it all...

Masks & Messy Stitches

Ooh! I'm so excited to offer you a cool collection of masks, as well as a huge pack (over 50 items!) of stitches, all at Pixel Canvas. Here's what they look like:

10 mostly large masks for you to play around with. I like to clip papers to mine and add subtle changes to the background of a page, but you can also clip photos, or even a collage of photos or text. Whatever you do with them, you're sure to have fun and make really pretty pages!

This third package of stitching is all about MESS! Well, ok, almost all--there is one pretty swirl in there. This time, you get three files for almost all the different stitches: one light set, one dark set, and one dark set with holes. Altogether, 55 different stitches! You also get a set of instructions for easy recoloring--a mini-tutorial is included to help you get the most out of your stitches. Paper is not included.
